Dunfermline Athletic have teamed up with Dunfermline Foodbank with the aim to help local families ahead of Christmas.

Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is proud to play its part in supporting our wider community, especially those worse off than ourselves and particularly at this time of year when we all too easily take things for granted.

The final drop off at the foodbank will bemade on Friday 22nd December, if you with to donate food you can drop it in to the Club Shop.

If you are dropping off donations during the working week, and the Club Shop is closed, please ring bell on glass door and DAFC staff will assist you. As from Wednesday 29 November, the Club Shop will be open Tuesday - Friday (10-4pm).

You don`t even have to go shopping! You probably already have many items desperately needed by the foodbank - such as tins, jars and packets of food, toiletries and cleaning products.

Jonathan Astill (Project Manager): `We really couldn`t do what we do if it weren`t for the support of local people, schools and organisations. We are continually humbled by all the donations we receive. Please support us through Dunfermline Athletic Football Club these coming weeks by donating food which will in turn be passed on to those who need it`
