KB:- `It`s just about one game at a time. I know it`s the old cliche but at this stage of the season it is simply that but it doesn`t get any bigger than tomorrow`s game."

Dunfermline skipper Kyle Benedictus claims the Pars very good recent run of fourteen league games undefeated and Saturday`s victory, in what was one of their best performance in recent weeks, has geared his team up for the challenge that Falkirk will bring in the home match on Tuesday evening. He felt it was a good all-round performance.

`I felt we were comfortable and had chances, the boys could have scored a few more. As a team it was one of our best team performances in quite a while. We`ve been good at home although there are a few draws in there. I think we showed on Saturday that we had the full package, it was a more complete performance and it was truly deserved. That can only give you confidence. Hopefully we come out and play the same way - a fast start and hopefully we come away with the three points.`

Preparations

"We were in yesterday. If there is a game on the Tuesday we`re usually in on the Sunday. There`s been no change there. Yesterday the boys that played did their recovery and the boys that weren`t playing did a bit extra. We`re all in it together and there`s been no change since the start of the season."

Taking the points

"We`re focused on it but I`ve said it all season, it is another three points. I know how big it is for the fans, both sets of fans will be wanting to win. Both sets of players will want to give it 100% and in terms of points, yeah it could be an advantage going eight points clear.

"They`ll be thinking exactly the same in the changing room, they`ll be thinking that if they win it goes to two points. Both sets of players know what`s at stake and I`m sure we`ll give our all for each of our clubs.`

Blocking out the noise

"As players we need to not play the occasion, we need to go out and do what we`ve been doing, which is to try and get three points. It`ll be a good game in terms of the fans.

`I`m also delighted for the club, it`s the biggest crowd that we`ll have in the last nine years or so, I`m delighted with that. It just shows you how big a game it is. Both teams are going very well, both teams are on very good runs. Both are playing with confidence, so it should be a cracking game for anyone watching but we want to make sure that we send our fans home happy."

Auld Acquaintance

While at Raith Rovers Kyle played for four seasons under the management team of John McGlynn and Paul Smith. He has now met them twice when leading Dunfermline against their new club.

"Every time I`ve seen them I`ve spoken to them before the game. I`m a professional and I want Dunfermline to do as well as we can. I`ve given everything for this club since I`ve been here. All the boys in that dressing room give the exact same. We`ll be doing that again tomorrow night.`

Repeat of November`s 1-0 win?

"That`s the ideal scenario, to get the three points again but after that there`s still going to be nine games, it`s not going to be over. It`s just about one game at a time. I know it`s the old cliche but at this stage of the season it is simply that but it doesn`t get any bigger than tomorrow`s game."
