He was born in Melrose and started at Earlston Rhymers Boys` Club. The 6ft 2in forward has travelled to train with Hibs since the age of eight and when he took a bit of time out of football his mother Sandra and father, Craig, who was on Rangers` books as a youngster himself, kept him motivated..

Returned to Hibs at the end of loan period at the end of March having made eight appearances for Dunfermline, three of which were off the bench. No goals.
