Lee Ashcroft is a powerful central defender who joined the Pars in May 2016.
He had joined Hillwood Boys Club as a 15 year old but was quickly signed up by Kilmarnock. Manager Kenny Shiels introduced Lee to first team football while still only 19 years of age.
A week after making his first team debut as a sub versus Dundee on 11th May 2013, Lee made his first team debut start in the penultimate SPL match of the 2012/13 season against Hibernian, scoring the Killie goal past Sean Murdoch in a 3-1 defeat.
Lee then signed a new three year contract and went on to captain the Rugby Park side for the first time while only 21 on 4th April 2015 in a 2-1 defeat to Motherwell. Lee made 25, 22 and 20 appearances for Killie over the last three seasons.
Although Lee started the play off final against Falkirk that ended 4-0, he was one of six players released by Kilmarnock at the end of the 2015-2016 season.
Made his first start for the Pars in their 3-0 win over Arbroath in July 2016.
