On 12 July 2018 Faissal El Bakhtaoui returned to East End Park on a season long loan from Dundee. Made a further 34 appearances including eight off the bench but only scored three times in his second term at the Pars.

Faissal El Bakhtaoui played at Berwick and Lochgelly in 2012-13 pre season friendlies, impressing Jim Jefferies so much that he signed the French Moroccan trialist. He commented:-

"He is a talented young kid, 19 year old and not far away from the first team. We will get him settled in and I am sure he is one to look forward to watching once he gets to grips with Scottish football."

Faissal made his first team debut when he came off the bench on Saturday 23rd February 2013 in the home match v Morton. He had reached the age of 21 by the time he scored on his starting debut against Stenhousemuir on 2nd January 2014. Went on to make a further 15 starts that season and earned a contract keeping him at East End Park until May 2016.

Faissal was a prolific scorer netting 30 times in the title winning season that won the Pars promotion in April 2016 but left at the end of that season to join Dundee.
