After a trial earlier in the month, Freddie returned to sign for Dunfermline on 27th January 2006.
He tried Scottish football briefly at the end of season 2001-02 and at the start of 2002-03 when he played under Frank Sauzee at Hibs.
Started his playing career with the Provence clubs, St Raphael and Frejus before joining Cannes. Went on to play for Paris St Germain and Rouen. His preference is to play right midfield.
Rewarded with a two year contract that would have kept him at East End Park until the summer of 2008. Just nine starts in 2006-07, the last on Boxing Day and 13 appearances off the bench.
Signed initially by Jim Leishman, his successor Stephen Kenny didn`t seem to rate Freddie. He wasn`t included in the Scottish Cup Final squad and his contract was cancelled by mutual consent in the summer of 2007.
He was picked up by Alex Rae for First Division rivals, Dundee for 2007-08. In an echo of his time at East End Park, he spent two seasons at Dens Park before being released by Jocky Scott.
32 Pars appearances, 1 goal - a cracker at Tannadice.
