Cammy started off at Edinburgh South Boys Club and joined Dunfermline Athletic at Under 11 level and has been here ever since. Davie Westwood was the goalie coach that picked him up and one of his first coaches was Roger Arnott.

A day release from fourth year at Gracemount High School allowed Cammy to train with Ryan Scully and Ryan Goodfellow during season 2013-14 under the guidance of Brian Potter.

As the only keeper in the U17 squad in 2013-14 but he was required for the Under 20s team in the SFA Youth Cup, thus his early appearances in the Under 20s.

First back up to Sean Murdoch for 2017-2018 season. Made his senior debut at Buckie in September 2017. Loaned out to Arbroath from January to March 2017 but did not make an appearance there.

Cammy spent a long long time on the subs bench at Dunfermline as cover for Sean Murdoch, Ryan Scully, Lee Robinson and Owain Fôn Williams and was only required at Stranraer in November 2019, Buckie in 2017 and at Celtic Park in August 2017.

His longest run in the first team starting eleven was a seven game run in September and October 2019.

Dunfermline appearances: 20 (including 3 as a substitute)

Cammy Gill played for Scotland U20s v Turkey on 17th November 2018.
