After Paul Gallacher was made redundant as a consequence of administration, Ryan was back up to Michal Hrivnak. Waited a long time to make his first team debut. made even tougher in July 2013 with the arrival on six month loan, of Ryan Scully from Partick Thistle.

When Ryan Scully was injured early in the second half of Dunfermline`s match against Airdrieonians on 16th November 2013 he came on for his debut. Made starting debut v Ayr United at Somerset Park on 19th April 2014 but never displaced Scully over the two years as understudy. Released in May 2015.
