Chris Kane signed for Dunfermline Athletic the day after his nineteenth birthday. He is a central midfielder who spent seven years at Hearts having joined them from Hibs. He came through the Jambos youth set up to captain their under 19s and was an unused sub in many SPL matches in the 2011-12 season.

Took up an Engineering Course in 2013 that caused him to turn part time footballer. After requesting to be released by the Pars joined Cowdenbeath in January 2014.
