Anthony was recalled to Hearts in January 2020.

He is described as a tricky winger who signed his first professional deal with Hearts in March 2017.

Born in Limassol, Cyprus and brought up in Kirkcaldy the 18 year old played at East End Park last season while on loan at Inverness Caley Thistle. His pathway to First Team football at Hearts was via Real Fife and Livingston, joined the Tynecastle club at Under 14 level.

He was handed a first-team debut - aged 16 - against Dundee at Tynecastle in December 2017 and was the star of the show, setting up both goals in a 2-0 victory.

In his first two seasons at Hearts he made 20 top team appearances before joining John Robertson at Inverness on a six-month loan in the second-half of the 2018-2019 campaign.

He made 14 appearances for the Caley Jags, scoring his first goal in professional football against Morton in April 2019 - which was nominated for the SPFL Goal of the Month.

In November 2018 he was called up the Scotland under-18 squad for the first time, picking up two caps against France and Uzbekistan. He had previously represented his country seven times at U16 and once at U17.

He scored his first goal for the club in July 2019, netting the second in a 2-0 win over Cowdenbeath in the Betfred Cup.

Anthony only made two sub appearances for Dunfermline Athletic.
