Goalkeeper Roddy Mackenzie signed up on a two year contract on 13th July 2006. The 31 year old stopper spent the previous three seasons at Livingston and he made 119 appearances for the Almondvale side. Roddy was also a Hearts goalkeeper from August 1996 until July 2003. While at Hearts he was farmed out to Blantyre Victoria and then in 1995, while on loan, the former U21 internationalist helped Stenhousemuir to win the challenge Cup. He made 54 appearances for the Jambos, won a CIS Insurance Cup winners medal in 2003 at Livingston.
Notched up 13 appearances for the Pars in 2006-2007 with one shut out at Tannadice. Kept out of the starting line up by Dutch stopper, Dorus de Vries.
Left Dunfermline during season 2007-2008, and subsequently joined Livingston in Season 2008-2009.
