Scott was at Dunfermline over ten years but was released at the age of 19. Went on to play for East Fife.

Scott has been with Dunfermline Athletic since U10s. He is a local lad who attended Queen Anne High School and has been Pars fan all his life. The 18 year old claims that the biggest influence of his development has been Stevie Paterson, his coach for three years while in the youth system at Dunfermline. Came through the youth set up at the same time as current U20s team mates Finn Graham, Scott Gray and Lewis Spence.

Went out for a month on loan to Albion Rovers on 8th November 2013.

Made Dunfermline debut when coming on as a sub v Rangers in on 3rd May 2013. When he left as his contract expired in May 2015, he joined East Fife, subsequently Queen of the South and Falkirk
