Teams | Lee Robinson
Keeper who was at Dunfermline from January 2018 until end of 2018-2019 season.
Lee Robinson joined Dunfermline on 1st January 2018 and subsequently earned a contract at East End Park for 2018-2019. The 31 year old was a free agent after leaving Queen of the South in September 2017.
Robinson`s heroics for the Pars could well have made the difference as the team made the playoffs by a mere point, and his fantastic form could have earned as many as 17 points.
The Sunderland born keeper made his league debut as a sub for Rangers as an 19 year old but was subsequently loaned out to Morton, St Johnstone and Queen of the South. Lee left Rangers in 2009 for Kilmarnock but it was at Queen of the South that he got regular first team starts.
Lee made 39 appearances in season 2011-2012 and 43 the following when his manager was Allan Johnston. The keeper went on to join Östersunds FK in Sweden before returning for 15 matches for Raith in 2014.
Lee spent a further season at Rangers as understudy to Steve Simonsen before becoming ever present in the Queen of the South side last season.
Having been ever present between the sticks did not feature again after the signing of Ryan Scully in January 2019.
