Ryan Scully joined Dunfermline in July 2013 initially on a six month loan from Partick Thistle. The goalkeeper has been at Firhill from the age of 15. He did two years as a trainee before securing a professional contract so this is his sixth year with the Jags.
Ryan played against Dunfermline in November 2012 when he came on as a sub for the injured Scott Fox at Firhill with 20 minutes remaining.
Eventually his six month`s at Dunfermline became an all season loan, he returned on a further season long loan deal in 2014-15.
On 24 January 2019 Ryan Scully returned to Dunfermline in the search for first team football. He was handed squad number 40 and was the total number of starts that he had made in the 50 month period since leaving Dunfermline in April 2015.

When Ryan returned to Thistle but after just 25 appearances over three seasons he left and was signed by Ray McKinnon at Morton. By January Jonatan Johannson had decided that Ryan Scully could leave and so the 26 year old keeper arrived once more at East End Park.
Between January 2019 and the end of his contract in 2020 made 18 appearances and achieved four shut outs
