Captain of the club for their then only First Division Championship in 1988/89 season, Bobby was a veteran full back brought in by Jim Leishman from Hibs in September 1987. He moved onto Partick Thistle two years later having lifted the title that previous season.

66 appearances during his successful time with the Pars.


Bobby died from cancer at the age of 56 on 22nd February 2010.
