The highly rated midfielder joined Dunfermline at the end of May 2019 on a two year contract.

At the age of 21 left Stranraer, having scored 19 goals in 139 appearances for the Blues since making his debut in September 2015.

Started out as a young kid at St Mirren, went back to St Peters Boys Club and on to play under 17 at Partick Thistle and a few under 20s games before going back to his local boys club, Glentyan Thistle in Kilbarchan.

Signed for Stranraer under 20s but in a matter of weeks was promoted into the first team by Brian Reid. Kyle was virtually ever present for four seasons before coming to Dunfermline.

Kyle turned down a new contract at Dunfermline in January 2021 and was subsequently loaned out to Airdrie in March 2021. Joined Partick Thistle for season 2021-2022
