Born: 22 April 1993, Oxford

21 year old striker Chigozie Ugwu signed for Dunfermline on 1st August 2014 was contracted to the club until the end of the year.

The Oxford born striker with an eye for goal progressed through the Royals Academy at Reading to sign a professional contract in June 2011. He was loaned out to a Conference South side, Ebbsfleet in the 2011/12 season, scoring four goals in nine appearances.

Signed a six-month loan at Yeovil in summer 2012, having also inked a new contract at Madejski Stadium before gaining experience at Plymouth on loan in early 2013 Returned to reading in March 2013 to progress with the under-21s.

Gozie has been described as a talented young striker and there was some surprise when he was released by Reading FC, possibly a casualty of the club`s failure to win promotion to the Premiership.

Left Dunfermline Athletic at the end of 2014 when his contract expired.
