Kerr warmed the subs bench for most of the Pars season in the SPL in 2011-12 but got his chance when the Club went into administration. Was ever present for the remainder of the season after making his debut at home to Falkirk on 27th March 2013.

Played for Edinburgh City from age four to 16 with a brief sojurn to Hibs at U12 level. Ross McNeill was his biggest influence at Edinburgh City where he won the Scottish Cup at U16 level. Signed a one year professional contract in April 2012.
