A young player who had shown good strengths in the U18s. Made his debut aged sixteen when he started the SPFL Trust Trophy match v Celtic B on 15th November 2022.
Sam signed for Dunfermline Athletic in January 2006, coming to the Academy from Bayside FC. A local lad who attended Dunfermline HS, Sam was part of the successful Dunfermline HS U 18s squad.
Sam had been playing with an older age group over the past years. This experience saw him perform well enough to be offered terms with Dunfermline.
On 17th February 2023 Sam joined Cowdenbeath FC on loan for the rest of the season.
