Anderson arrived from Aberdeen on loan in January 2019 and scored 5 goals in 14 appearances to help Dunfermline fight off relegation. Although the team were beaten by Ross County on his debut after he scored and the team would go on a 5 game winning streak to secure their Championship place.

20 year old Bruce had made 17 appearances and scored 2 goals for Aberdeen before he joined Dunfermline on 31 January 2019 on loan until the end of the 2018-2019 season.

Having starting off at Dyce Boys Club he joined the Aberdeen youth academy at the age of 13. Bruce showed tremendous goalscoring prowess at every age group.

He was instrumental in Paul Sheerin`s side that reached the Youth Cup Final in 2018, scoring a hatrick in the semi-final as well as being leading goalscorer in the Development League.

He was loaned out to League 2 side, Elgin City in the first half of season 2017-2018 and returned with five goals to his name.

He made his competitive debut for The Dons on the opening day of the 2018-2019 season against Rangers and it proved to be a memorable occasion for the 19 year old as he scored the 92nd minute equaliser.
