Mark Williams was serving in the Royal Navy when he signed for Dunfermline Athletic as a winger in 1979-80. A promising career never really got going when he was transferred to the south of England, He played there for Yeovil Town. A return to Rosyth saw him playing for Cowdenbeath, East Fife and Dumbarton.
