One of the many fine reserve players, who were kept out of the team by the big stars of the mid sixties. Became the first substitute ever used by The Pars in Scottish Football in August 1966.
At that time, substitutes were only allowed to replace an injured player and he only came on in one other game despite being named many times. Moved to Raith Rovers in 1967 and became a first team regular.
