One of Dunfermline`s most impressive performers of the modern era, Crawford has had a relationship with the club that has spanned more than thirty years.

Stevie had three spells with the Pars. Initially a S form signing at Dunfermline in 1990, he signed for Jimmy Nichol`s Raith Rovers and made a big impact in the successful Rovers side of the early 1990s. In 1996, he signed for Millwall but he only spent one season with the London club scoring 12 goals before returning to join Hibs. After two successful seasons with Hibs, he found himself out of favour.

In October 1999 Dick Campbell snapped him up on loan before signing for the Pars for a second spell. Stevie was a huge hit and netted 16 goals which won him the First Division Player of the Year Award.

He opted to stay with the Pars, when his Hibs contract expired in the summer 2000 and is a firm favourite with Jimmy Calderwood. He formed a great partnership with Craig Brewster after he was signed for the 2002-03 season and the two complimented each other well to produce a lot of goals together.

On his way to setting an SPL goalscoring record (18) for the Pars he was recalled to Berti Vogt`s Scotland team and has re-established himself at international level since winning his second Scottish cap in April 2001.

Signed a two year extension to his contract at East End in May 2003 which would have him there until the summer of 2006 had the financial situation at the club not forced that contract to be rescinded. Joined Plymouth Argyle in June 2004 but returned to Dundee United in January 2005. He subsequently moved to join the Two Jimmies at Pittodrie.

After exactly a year and ten goals at Aberdeen Stevie returned to Dunfermline on the last day of the transfer `window` in August 2006. He ended the Pars nine SPL games drought when scoring against Kilmarnock in February 2007. Came on as sub in the 2007 Scottish Cup final to make it three Scottish Cup finals in four years, all unluckily on the losing side.

Stevie made 19 Scotland appearances while at Dunfermline.

Stevie left Dunfermline at the end of Season 2007-2008 and signed for East Fife season 2008-2009. He became their Manager for the following season. In September 2006, Jim Leishman brought him back to East End Park for a third time. In 2018 he returned to East End Park as coach and was appointed manager in January 2019.

261 Dunfermline appearances, 82 goals
