Georgeson joined the club from Berwick Rangers for £4.5k towards the end of the 1975/76 season but could not stop the fall into the Second Division. He helped the club reach 3rd position in each of the following two seasons where he was almost ever-present.
He left the club after the first 2 games of the 1978/79 season and joined Montrose, perhaps feeling that his place would be limited after the club had signed Mike Leonard.
