Left sided defender / wing back who joined from Aberdeen for the start of the 2005-2006 season.

Scott starting playing at his local boys club in the Aberdeenshire village of Kemnay, moved on to the Albion Club in Aberdeen to play in the under 9s and on to Colony Park in Inverurie. Although his school, Robert Gordons College did not have a football team, he attracted the attentions of Aberdeen FC and played at all levels for them from U14 upwards.

He featured at international level in each age group from Under 16 to Under 21. He has 12 U21 international caps but this is his last season eligible in this age group.

After only three appearances for the Pars Scott sustained knee ligament injury when brought down by keeper Ramazan Oczan in 31st minute of Scotland`s U21 international in Austria. Was out for the reminder of the season and received treatment in Colorado.

He returned in November 2006 and went on to start 16 games including the Tennents Scottish Cup final despite being left out for the seven previous matches.

Joined Ross County for season 2007-08.
