Debut: v Hearts CIS Insurance Cup 25/09/07

Went on loan to Cowdenbeath in July 2009 before subsequently joining the Blue Brazil in 2010.

Scott started his football career with Woodside Boys Club in his home town of Glenrothes from eight years of age until 12, then Glenrothes Strollers until the age of 14. Alex Carswell picked Scott up for Dunfermline U15 and he has come up through the youth programme at Dunfermline.

Scott was in his second year in the U19s when he travelled to Tynecastle for the CIS Insurance cup tie against Hearts on 26th September 2007, expecting to be on the bench. An hour before the game Manager Stephen Kenny took him out on to the pitch and told him that he was starting.

Loaned out to Arbroath for the latter half of the 2007-08 season. Made only one appearances in 2008-09, in the Alba Challenge Cup. Unused sub in last game of the season v Clyde 09/05/09.
