Signed as a goal getting midfielder from Falkirk for £120,000. David went on to make 42 appearances and a further 15 as a substitute. He scored 14 goals in a Pars top. David fell out of favour and moved to Ayr on loan at the end of 2001 before re-signing for Falkirk in March 2002
