Tashan has represented England up to U18 level and was born in Lambeth but of Jamaican descent. He has come through the Tottenham Hotspur Academy and was a member of the England side that won the World Cup at under 17 level in 2017, playing alongside the likes of Jadon Sancho, Conor Gallagher, and Phil Foden. Tashan played in six matches, including the final against Spain at the U17 World Cup, and was described as “an integral part†of the squad.
He joined the Spurs academy on 1st July 2017 and made his first senior appearance three weeks later when he came on as a halftime substitute against PSG in a pre-season friendly in Orlando. Although Mauricio Pochettino gave him his competitive first-team debut in the Carabao Cup against Barnsley in September of that year, most of his time at Spurs he played at under-18 and under-23 levels. Seeking further development opportunities, he left his boyhood club to join Stoke City in January 2020.
Tashan was 19 when Stoke City signed him up on a three-and-a-half-year contract. He went on to make 23 appearances for Stoke before going on a season-long loan to Lincoln City in 2022-2023, where he made 25 appearances, the majority as starts. He joined Blackpool for the 2023-2024 season and had made 10 appearances before moving to Portuguese side Estrela.
