In June 2018 Stevie Crawford came in as temporary cover after First Team Coach, John Potter left to take up a similar role at Sunderland. Stevie`s position was made permanent within a month.

On the departure of Allan Johnston and Sandy Clark in January 2019, Stevie Crawford was appointed Head Coach. Stevie was in charge until he resigned on 18th May 2021 having finished the Championship season in fourth place. Having made the Premiership play offs his side were knocked out 2-0 on aggregate by Raith Rovers.

As a player he scored 82 goals for Dunfermline while clocking up 260 appearances over three spells at his hometown club.

When he left in 2008, he signed a two-year-deal with East Fife but when David Baikie resigned as their manager on 14 April 2009, Crawford became caretaker player/manager. He was given the job on a permanent basis later that month. After just over a year as manager, Crawford resigned as manager of East Fife.

Craw was appointed assistant manager of Falkirk in October 2011. He moved to a similar position at Hearts in May 2014, working with Robbie Neilson.

Neilson and Crawford both moved to English League One side Milton Keynes Dons in December 2016 but both left MK Dons in January 2018.
