Starting with Elgin Star, Miller joined Fife Elite at the age of 12 and attended Queen Anne High School. He credits Hamish French and Connor Little among his coaches.
After playing the 2018-19 season at under 16 level, the left back moved on to under 18 at Fife Elite and has been playing two years above his level for a couple of years.
Father, Craig Fenton also played left back and was a contemporary of Greg Shields at Rangers. He played for Scotland in the Victory Shield before injury curtailed his football career. Miller was encouraged by both his father and mother and now at Dunfermline he is looking forward to coaching from Greg Shields who of course also played full back.
Miller made his Dunfermline debut as an 82nd minute sub in the Premier Sports Cup v Dumbarton in July 2021.
On 12th March 2021 Miller went out on loan to East Fife and in August 2022 went out on loan to Lowland League side, Berwick Rangers where he made 12 appearances, all but one as a start.
At Dunfermline Miller was kept out of the team by a very consistent Josh Edwards. Miller made only one start for the Pars in the Challenge Cup before he was released at the end of the 2023-2024 season.
