League One`s top goalscorer, Michael Moffat joined Dunfermline in May 2014 from League One rivals Ayr United on a two year deal.
Moffat finished the 2014/15 season as the league`s top scorer having scored 27 goals in 39 matches.
In total he made around 150 appearances for Ayr in the three and a half seasons after joining them from Girvan Juniors in January 2011. In this time he has hit the net 68 times.
He got off the mark for Dunfermline scoring in his first competitive match for the club against Annan Athletic on 2nd August 2014. Won the League One title with the club in 2015-2016.

Moffat struggled to find form in his first season, as did most of his team mates with the club finishing in 7th Position. He was part of the squad which won the league the following season in style and then struggled to find the net in season 2016/17 before returning to Ayr United.
