Lewis Mayo joined Dunfermline in September 2020 on a season long loan from Rangers. Lewis who is from Lenzie, had been with Rangers from the age of seven as part of the soccer school and has worked his way up through the Rangers Academy.
Although he has yet to make a senior appearance for Rangers his talents have been recognised by the national side where he made appearances as a youth international across three different age bands.
He went out on loan to Partick Thistle in early 2020, unbeaten in three games he actually played in the last league match before lockdown against Dunfermline.
Lewis signed a two year extension to his contract at Rangers at the end of last month to keep him at Ibrox until 2023. The Gers boss, Steven Gerrard said: "We love Mayo. His attitude has been fantastic and he has a really good chance.“
Made his Dunfermline debut as a sub v Alloa Athletic on 24th October and his first start at Ayr on 7th November. Lewis` ability to play in defence and midfield made him a first team regular at East End Park.
