`Yanou` was a natural left-sided defender and an excellent placer of the ball. Iain played in all the Youth teams from the age of 13.
Iain first appeared for the first team in pre-season friendlies and also featured on the bench for SPL matches. He earned three Scottish Schoolboy caps over the summer of 2004.
Made his first team debut in December 2004 at Easter Road. First start was against Aberdeen on 12th February 2005 v Aberdeen at East End Park.
The full back is son of former Dunfermline, Brechin City, Partick Thistle and Ross County manager Dick Campbell.
Iain worked his way through the youth ranks at Dunfermline and came to prominence in the 2004-05 season during one of Dunfermline`s bad injury spells. He acquitted himself well and was rewarded with a regular place in the first team pool. Tremendous left foot and very good at delivering corners and set pieces.
At the 21-year-old signed a two-year deal at Rugby Park on 30th August 2006 having made 36 Pars appearances including 9 as sub.
One goal - 29/04/06 at Motherwell.
