Gavin joined Dunfermline in June 2016 on a season long loan from Hearts.

Gavin came through from the youth system at Queen of the South, going out on loan to Gretna before returning to eventually make 133 appearances for Queens and playing for Queen of the South Under-19s in the Youth Cup Final.

Reilly, scored 15 goals in season 2014-2015 as QOS finished fourth in the Scottish Championship and joined Hearts on a three-year deal in June 2015. He made 32 appearances for the Jambos in season 2015-2016 but mainly off the bench, scoring five goals.
