Charlie Gilmour joined Dunfermline from Inverness Caley Thistle on 2nd June 2025 and made his debut starting in the Premier Sports Cup tie against Hearts at Tynecastle on 12th July. He is a 26 year old defensive midfielder who made 38 appearances last season and 34 the previous season for the Highlanders. All but three were as a start.
After joining the Arsenal Youth Academy at the age of six he would be there for 14 years. Charlie made his first team debut as a late substitute in the Europa League win over Vorskla Poltava. Former Arsenal youth player who moved at U23 level to Norwich City and while at Norwich he spent one season on loan to Dutch side SC Telstar.
Although born in Brighton, he has a Scottish father and Scottish grandparents. Capped at all age groups initially at U15 and U16 for Scotland, then at U16 and U17 for England, he then switched back and earned caps at U17 and U19 for Scotland.
At the age of 23 Charlie moved north to join St Johnstone in February 2021. He made 14 appearances for the Perth club and after loans to both Alloa Athletic and Cove Rangers he joined ICT in July 2023.
