Kamwa was John Hughes` fourth signing after taking over as Pars manager.
Bobby Kamwa was on loan from Leeds United from 27th January 2022 until the end of the season that saw the Pars relegated. All Bobby`s appearances came off the bench, several very brief.
Born in Douala Cameroon, Kamwa moved to England at the age of nine, and joined the Leeds academy at the age of 13.
In the summer of 2020, he signed a new two-year contract at Elland Road, after prominently featured in the Whites` under-23 side.
Having left Leeds Bobby played for Burton Albion and Newport County. On the final day of the 2025–26 season, Kamwa scored an 83rd minute winner to help Newport defeat Barrow 2–1, securing the club`s survival at the expense of their opponents. Following the conclusion of the season, he rejected the offer of an improved contract, instead choosing to depart the club.
