Jamie McCunnie, former Scotland U21 captain arrived at East End Park in August 2005.


Brought up in Blantyre, Jamie was signed by Dundee United at the age of 13, worked his way up through the club`s youth teams and made his debut against Hibs at Easter road as a 17 year old. After four seasons at Tannadice he was released and spent two seasons at Ross County.


Ian McCall explained to Jamie that his first team chances would be limited and he accepted a deal that sent him north and took goalkeeper Tony Bullock to Dundee United.


Jamie arrived having played in 143 senior games at club level. Scored his only goal for Dunfermline with a rocket of a shot in the CIS Insurance Cup Tie at Kilmarnock in September 2005. Played in the 2007 Scottish Cup Final before leaving the club to join Hartlepool United for season 2007-2008
