Andy Barrowman joined Dunfermline for a second time on 13th January 2015. He was one of the players forced to leave the club when it went into administration in March 2013.

He first signed for Dunfermline on 3rd June 2011 from Ross County where he had been top goalscorer in the previous season.

Barrowman who was born in Wishaw, joined Birmingham City at the age of 16, having been with Rangers for four years as a schoolboy. In 2002 he represented Scotland under-19s in the first qualifying round for the 2003 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championships having previously represented Scotland at other youth and schoolboy levels.

He signed his first senior contract at Birmingham for the start of the 2003-04 season, but made his debut in the Football League as a Crewe Alexandra player, in a match against Bradford City on 14 October 2003 during a month-long loan spell. Between November and the close of the season, he played once in the Premier League for Birmingham City, at home against Leicester City. In the summer of 2004, his contract was renewed but was loaned out to Blackpool.

In January 2006 he signed for Walsall before moving back to Scotland with Kilmarnock. Unfortunately he was destined to be loaned out again and this time it was at Queen of the South. This loan deal was subsequently extended to a short term contract there after Kilmarnock released him having made just three appearances in the SPL for them.

He signed for Ross County for the 2007-08 season. He hit terrific form during his first season with County, scoring a total of 29 goals, 24 in the league, which helped the club to win the Second Division championship.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Craig Brewster captured his main transfer target on 25 June 2008 when, after much deliberation, Barrowman committed himself to a three-year contract with the club. He scored on his league debut in a 2-0 win over Aberdeen but despite scoring on his debut, found himself in and out of the Inverness team in his first season.

On 1 February 2010, Barrowman re-signed for Ross County on an 18-month deal after securing a release from Inverness. He contributed an assist for the second goal as Ross County eliminated Celtic on their way to the 2010 Scottish Cup Final. Barrowman played the whole game as Ross County lost 3-0 to Dundee United. In October 2010 he returned to first-team duty after two months out with a broken foot.

Left and joined Dundee when Interim Administrators made him redundant in March 2013

His second spell was in 2015 when he signed from Morton in a deal that saw Ross Forbes go the opposite way. Barrowman played for 15 clubs including Birmingham City, Blackpool, Kilmarnock, Ross County and Dundee. After retiring he became Scottish brand manager for sport manufacturer Joma.

Dunfermline appearances: 52, 20 goals
