Bell signed for Dunfermline in May 2008 from Stirling Albion after signing a pre contract agreement.

Steven Bell joined from Stirling Albion in May 2008 on a two year deal. The energetic midfielder was Allan Moore`s first signing for season 2005/06, having put pen to paper in pre-season. He will be remembered as a goalscorer in Stirling`s matches against the Pars in both October 2007 and March 2008.

Steven started his career with Dundee United, although he never made the break through. Steven then went on to sign for First Division QOS, but a bad injury there limited his appearances and he was released at the end of 2004/05. Allan Moore was quick to snap Steven up and despite injury keeping him out for the start of season 2005/06, he went on to have a fine season, scoring twice for the Binos. Steven improved again in season 2006/07 and scored nine important goals on the way to the Binos promotion. One of those goals was scored in only 15 seconds and he became the joint fastest goalscorer in the Binos` history.

In season 2008-09 Steven missed pre season training due to injury but went on to make 25 starts for Dunfermline. An Achilles injury in November 2010 kept him out for the remainder of the season. Steven never played for Dunfermline again and spent 3 years out of the game before signing for Stranraer in 2013.

73 appearances + 10 as sub. 17 goals including hat-trick against Morton.
