Inside Forward who began his career as a youngster with Celtic in 1954. He made two appearances before going on loan to Stirling Albion in season 1955/56. He played around 20 games for Albion but it was Clyde who signed him permanently at the end of the season.
In 1959, Dunfermline signed him but he failed to win favour with Jock Stein. He later played for Stirling Albion, Airdrie, Falkirk and Partick Thistle.
