Midfielder who started his career with Albion Rovers where he played well over 150 games between 1973 and 1978, when he was signed by Blackpool. In 1979 Torquay United signed him for a three year stint, during which he was a first team regular.
Dunfermline signed him during season 1982/83. He did not last the season, emigrating to Australia. In 1988, he took up coaching and in 1991 turned his attention to women`s football, with some success. He coached the national teams of United States, Australia and New Zealand.
