News | SFA Academy Audit

Friday, 24th Mar 2023

The club is delighted to announce that our Academy has recently been awarded Performance Progressive status as a result of the recent SFA audit of Club Academy Scotland academies.

CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

An intrinsic part of the more stringent criteria for performance Progressive status set out by the SFA is that academies at this level must provide medical cover for Academy games. That cover requires Chartered Physiotherapists to be present at Academy games at home. These games take place at Michael Woods Sports Centre in Glenrothes on either a Saturday or a Sunday.

Consequently, we are looking to increase the number of suitably qualified Chartered Physiotherapists who would be willing to assist in the development of our future talent by offering their services on a match day. Payment for attendance at matches will be offered.

Should any Chartered Physiotherapist feel they could help our Academy then please email Bill Hendry at the club.
